How It Works

Accountancy Pal helps ACCA students globally achieve better results in their exams by providing a platform on which students can practice what they learn during lectures or from their text books.

The best way for students to test what they have learned is by answering questions about a Topic with the book closed.

But many books and notes don’t provide enough questions.  Or the questions they offer are too easy or too difficult.  Or students waste a lot of time searching for the answers at the back of the book.  Or the answers don’t offer a detailed enough explanation.  Or students don’t have a simple mechanism to keep a record of how they performed in each topic.  Or when it comes to revising in the weeks before the Exams, students don’t have lists of the most difficult questions they want to master.

Accountancy Pal solves all of these pain points.

Here’s what makes Accountancy Pal such a brilliant learning platform.

  • Easy to Navigate Platform allowing you to quickly get to work. You simply choose the subject you want, choose the topic and then start.
  • Huge Database of Questions: We offer the largest database of Multiple-Choice Questions and Answers. Students can reinforce what they have learnt in class by doing hundreds of questions on each topic in each Subject.  Practice makes perfect.
  • Multiple choice Questions with Answers: All of the questions on Accountancy Pal are Multiple-Choice Questions. Simply click and choose the correct answer A, B, C or D. After you make your selection, then the correct answer will appear and you don’t need to go searching through indexes to find it.
  • Importantly, the answer to every question comes with a detailed explanation so that you understand how the answer is achieved.
  • Graded Questions: Every question on the Accountancy Pal database has a grade from 1 to 10. Uniquely, these grades from 1 to 10 are not awarded by the teachers who write the questions, but instead are based on how many students answered the questions correctly.  An ‘easy’ question with a grade of 1 means that 9 out of 10 students answered it correctly.  Students can filter the questions so that they are only shown all questions with a grade of 1, before moving onto to harder questions.
  • Shareable question session results: A results summary is generated after each question session showing how you did and giving the following information: The date, time and duration of the session – Number of questions answered – How many questions were answered correctly – The % grade achieved out of 100%. Importantly the user session summary can then be shared with lecturers, parents or classmates.
  • Save Questions to Lists: Another great feature is the ability to save questions to different lists that you create. You can save a question that you may want to show to your lecturer and to ask further about that particular topic.
  • Use our Progressive Difficulty feature to instantly learn your standard in comparison to Peers: Our Progressive Difficulty offers the next question on the basis of whether you got the last question right or wrong.  Say you answered a question of Difficulty Level 4 correctly, the next question you will be offered will have a Difficulty Level 5, whereas if you answered it incorrectly, the next question you will be offered will have a Difficulty Level of 3.  After 3 or 4 questions this will let you know your standard in comparison to your peers.
